It is 6:50am in India – March 31st, 2008.
The Sun is rising over the horizon and people are still waking up from their deep sleep. Today, I was up by 4:30am and went for an hour walk. Now, I am sitting here typing out a brief about a new journey, which I am supposed to commence today at 5:00pm (IST) 7:30 EST. Sweet.
So, today is the day when I will be getting married. Hmm….it does gives me the usual jitters, but I guess it is part of life.
Many of friends and relatives have already arrived and some are still on the way. This place is going to get crowded by and around 10am this morning. They will get busy with car decorations and other misc stuff. Meanwhile, I will wait for the clock turn to 3 when I will start dressing up for the wedding.
By the way, I am getting married to Loveleen Crowther; a soft-spoken beautiful girl. The nuptials will be held at St. Xavier’s Loyola Church here in Ahmedabad, India. Well, this is the school I have spent my years running around the track, playing soccer, playing basketball etc. It has been some journey.
Today is the day. Good luck – hmm to me!
