January 21, 2008 – will it be the saddest day of year? Besides the usual “Monday blues” will this day be our saddest day of the year? Will it dictate our mood? According to the Dr. Cliff Arnall, of Cardiff University devised a formula in which all the negative factors are considered and arrives at a conclusion; will hit rock bottom on the 21st. According to his formula, the day (01/21) will be gloomiest day of the year – storms, icy conditions, failed resolutions, high gas prices, mortgage crisis, stock market crash, fear of recession etc. etc. Of course, this is just a theory…
There was one more thing (not related to the formula), which I read – the day after New Year has the highest divorce rate in the world – every year!
So the question is – will you be gloomy tomorrow? Will your desires hit rock bottom? Will you be sad, depressed and disappointed?
As for me? I will be just dandy!

Will I be gloomy tomorrow? Heck no! I don’t have to work or go to school. I’m even going hiking. I suppose the only way I’d have a bad day tomorrow is if I sprain my ankle or something, but even then, I’d probably see the good in that.

That’s the spirit!
Some theorists and some writers would like to make up some stuff and some formula. Honestly, our life is not dependent on some odd or even formula. Anyway, the day has started off pretty good for me! It is freezing cold here, but the sun is shinning bright! I finished my jog and it was refreshing!
