About a month back, I had written about Toyota’s Robot. Last month (Dec 2007), Honda came out with it’s robot (Humanoids) that will work in pairs and even serve drinks!
Honda has devised a system, which can link two robots with each other so they can work in pairs and share information of what each is doing. The demonstration by Honda showed that these robots are careful when walking around the room, picking up drinks, putting down drink trays and pushing refreshment cart!
This robot is 51-inch tall can do more tasks without human help, for example, recognize drink choices and carry a tray with the requested drink to the person who placed the order! Pretty cool, huh?
